I see a lot of people
refreshing their computer
without any result. Why they
do so?
-
Some call them geeks, prodigies! But then if
you are in the habit of  hitting the refresh
button all the time, it’s time to stop it, as it’s
just a waste of time.
Now let me come straight to the point.
1. What you think when you refresh:
No kidding!
This is exactly what you people assume the
result of refreshing.
(Some mediocre's keep refreshing so much
that they eventually forget what they
intended to do)
2. What it actually does:
The use of refresh button is to rebuild all
the pixels on the screen. This helps
when you have been running a CPU
intensive application which slows down
the computer and as a result the CPU
does not refresh the screen at its natural
intervals (60 Hz usually).
Your computer is build in such a way that
each time you make changes, the
system auto-refreshes. But at times,
after you make changes(eg. Copying
files, Inserting USB's, Saving files etc.)
your system does not auto-refreshes.
And it is at this point that you actually
want to refresh them.
Please note: REFRESHING DOES NOT
INCREASE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE
SYSTEM. On the other hand too much of
refreshing actually makes your system
bit irresponsive. Like how i
aforementioned the fact that a guy keep
refreshing and forgets what
he actually intended to do, same applies
for your computer too.
And now since you know the real reason
behind refreshing you might want to
remove that irritating element form the
right click context. Please note again
the Refresh option cannot be removed
from the right-click menu whatsoever,
as it is not a shell extension, but is hard
coded in the operating system.
The latest operating systems coming up
(Linux) do not have the refreshing
functionality which clearly cites this is
actually something being outdated!
Since because of that auto-refresh thing
i mention above.
So if you are one of them, break this habbit.
It does no good other than a refresh for
yourself. :D :D
